On Tuesday, fans of popular actor Dhanush were disappointed to learn that they couldn't view his and Sai Pallavi's classic dance number Rowdy Baby on Wunderbar Films' YouTube account. Soon after, it was revealed that the channel had been hacked on May 17, according to Divo Movies, a digital video and music distribution organization.

Several individuals took to Twitter to express their surprise and demand that YouTube India restore the account.

Wunderbar Films later claimed that their YouTube channel has been restored barely hours after being hacked.

Despite social media rumours that 'Rowdy Baby' had been deleted from the account, the content of the channel has remained unchanged since its reinstatement. More information about the security breach and the perpetrators is pending.

The Rowdy Baby song has received over 1.3 billion views on YouTube, making it the only Tamil and South music to do so. Dhanush's blockbuster film Maari 2 has the song.

Wunderbar Films, a production and distribution business created by Dhanush and filmmaker Aishwarya Rajinikanth, was launched in 2010. He made his debut as a producer with the film 3, directed by the latter. Wunderbar Films has sponsored popular Tamil films such as Ethir Neechal, Velaiilla Pattadhari, Kaaki Sattai, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, Kaala, Vada Chennai, Maari, and Maari 2. While the banner has produced commercially successful films, it has also focused on films like as Kaaka Muttai, Visaranai, and Pa Paandi, which have received critical acclaim for their uniqueness.

Dhanush is now prepping for the release of The Gray Man, his forthcoming Hollywood feature, which will be available on Netflix. The film is directed by the Russo brothers and stars Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling, and Ana De Armas in pivotal parts.
